Legally required seminars to make your life in the Czech Republic easier

AIC

import_contactsThe courses will tell you about your basic rights and obligations.
alarmThey last for four hours and are delivered by a certified lecturer and interpreter.
translateThe courses is available in several languages, including English and Ukrainian.
calendar_monthThe deadline for attending the course is one year from the receipt of the first biometric card.
location_onThe courses are held face-to-face. In Prague, they are organized by the Integration Centre Prague.
account_balance_walletThe fee per one participant is set by law and is CZK 1,500.
task_altUpon completion, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
warningFailure to attend the course may result in a fine of up to CZK 10,000.

You must attend the course if you meet the following conditions:

you are not a national of Switzerland or of a country in the EU/EEA

your residence permit took effect after 1 January 2021

you have a long-term or permanent residence permit

Take a quiz to find out if you should attend the course. The quiz will only take a few minutes and you will need your biometric card to take it.

Do you have a biometric card?
If you have a visa in your travel document, you are not required to complete the adaptation and integration course. If you are waiting for your biometric card to be issued, please take the quiz after you get it. In other cases, please contact the Integration Centre.
Does your biometric card say “temporary residence” (přechodný pobyt) in the type of permit section (i.e. your residence permit is for a family member of an EU national)?
You are not obliged to attend the course. If you change your purpose of stay, take the quiz again or contact the Integration Centre.
Select when you received your first biometric card.
You received your biometric card (residence permit) before the obligation to attend an AIC was introduced. Therefore, the obligation does not apply to you. However, please make sure that your residence permit was valid on 1 January 2021.

There is no requirement to attend an AIC with this residence permit code. If you change your purpose of stay, take the quiz again or contact the Integration Centre.
You are most likely to be required to attend an adaptation and integration course. However, there are a few exceptions. Does any of them apply to you?

In all likelihood, you are not required to attend the course. If you are unsure of your answers in the quiz, contact the Integration Centre. If your residence permit changes, you may be required to attend the course.
